What We Do

Mayyu Rescue focuses on addressing the urgent and long-term needs of vulnerable communities. We are committed to:

Emergency Humanitarian Response: We engage to provide prompt assistance during conflicts or natural disasters. Our emergency teams provide families with food, water, shelter, and medical support so they can survive and begin to heal. This program is intended to provide immediate and lifesaving assistance in emergency situations throughout the Rakhine state, especially in the Mayyu region.

Child Education: Recognizing that children are the cornerstone of a thriving community, we strive to ensure their access to education, even during crises. We set up learning spaces, distribute school supplies, and offer tutoring to help children continue their education when regular schooling is disrupted. By supporting children’s education, we hope to equip the next generation with the tools they need to overcome current hardships.

Healthcare Assistance: We provide emergency medical support to patients battling life-threatening diseases such as hepatitis C (HCV), cancer, and tuberculosis (TB), as well as to seriously wounded civilians in conflicts. This program provides access to vital healthcare, medications, and financial assistance with a focus on the needs of those who might not otherwise be able to receive treatment.
