Explain the effects of drug trafficking on society, public health, and security. Highlight how drug-trafficking affects young people and communities in crisis. Instructing how to recognize signs of drug use and connect individuals with addiction support.
Women Empowerment and Capacity-Building
Mayyurescue partners with experienced veterinary professionals to deliver essential veterinary care for the animals in our sanctuary. This includes vaccinations, spaying/neutering, and treatment for injuries or illnesses. Our aim is to restore their health and well-being, facilitating their journey to adoption.
Hygiene and Sanitation Program
Objective: Promoting hygiene practices and improving sanitation to enhance community health and prevent disease spread.
Highlight importance of hand washing, oral hygiene, and cleanliness. Enlighten the link between hygiene and diseases such as cholera, skin infections. Safe waste disposal, clean water use, and avoiding contamination. Practical demos on hand washing and safe sanitation practices. Group activities to clean local areas, reinforcing the importance of hygiene. Assemble and distribute kits with soap, toothbrushes, and basic supplies.
