Rescuing and Rehabilitating Abandoned People in Myanmar

Mayyu Rescue (MR) is a communities-based organisation based in Rakhine State, Myanmar, that was established in 2022 with the mission of serving all communities affected by conflict, natural catastrophes, and hardship. Mayyu Rescue is devoted to promoting pluralism, diversity, and peaceful coexistence. Mayyu Rescue focuses on long-term peace building as well as providing aid to conflict-affected communities.

We believe that every person, regardless of race, religion, or origin, deserves life-saving assistance, emergency healthcare support, and education. Our organisation is founded on the ideas of compassion, equality, and resilience, as well as aiming to bridge divides and assist people in need in Rakhine State. Our team consists of local volunteers, field specialists, healthcare workers, and educators who are not only skilled but also sincerely committed to aiding their communities.
MR partners with various NGOs, donors, researchers, and other civil society groups to achieve our goals.
